Falling
Particle systems are fun to tinker with.
This one is reasonably simple:
- Particles within an inner circle have their velocity negated and scaled depending on their circle overlap
- Particles above the circle increase in vertical velocity, and vice verse
- Particles left of the circle increase in horizontal velocity, and vice verse
I tried varying the radius of the circle over time but didn't like the result. I think keeping it fixed nicely emphasised the negative space. Moving the circle doesn't seem as bad, though I'm not sure.
